Position - Setup Technician.

Job Location - Plymouth, WI.

Starting Date - Immediate.

Employment Term - Temp-to-hire.

Employment Type - Full-time.

Work Hours (Shift) - 8-hour, 3rd shift, M-F shift, or 12-hour evening shift. 7pm-7am. The days scheduled are 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. Training is on 1st shift.

Starting Pay - $23/hour.

Required Education - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required Experience - Experience working with plastics materials, extrusion tooling and equipment, and forklift operation.

Job Summary -

-Skill and knowledge in setup, tear down, and maintenance of extrusion tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities -

-Operation of single and twin screw extruders, auxiliary, and downstream equipment.

-Produce quality products following extrusion setup sheets, company procedures, and work instructions. Complete extrusion dimensional charts, check sheets, and required documentation.

-Responsible for the updating of setup sheets and documentation as required.

Qualifications -

-Must have at least one year of experience working with plastics material including: identification, processing characteristics, and regrind system.

-Must be experienced with extrusion tooling and equipment.

-Must have forklift operation experience.

-Must have experience using calipers.

-Must be very mechanically inclined.

-Ability to inspect parts per the specification sheet requirements.

-Light to moderate physical effort required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the facility.
