As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Security Clearance in McKinney, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report access control issues in accordance with site protocols.
• Support security-related operations by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following post orders related to aerospace and defense location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
