Family Art & Science Camp Support **Great for Nurses & Educators Family Learning Lab is seeking vetted volunteers to assist during our summer camp programming. We provide low‑cost art, craft, and science days at our center for families to experience together – strengthening the parent‑child relationship and facilitating families learning together and finding community. Our center is a welcoming, relaxed, and friendly environment where each individual is truly valued. As our program grows, we need volunteers to help keep the center clean, organized, and ready for families throughout the day. Volunteers may help with tasks such as sweeping the sensory play area, tidying the Lego area, washing art palettes and trays, resetting activity spaces, and cleaning up after crafts. This opportunity is available ONLY to individuals with clear background checks. It is a fantastic and flexible opportunity for nursing students and professionals needing community service hours. Volunteers may request shifts between 2 and 5 hours, Tuesday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Additional opportunities outside these hours are available, including craft prep sessions. Interested individuals must coordinate service directly with Family Learning Lab before volunteering. NOT AVAILABLE FOR COURT-ORDERED SERVICE. As we are a family center with young kids present, you may NOT arrive for service without scheduling with us first.
