What Youll Do Partner with the Bakery Manager to run daily operations of the Bakery Department Work alongside our talented baking team to create gourmet favorites cakes, cookies, muffins, tarts, and special orders Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service at our bakery counter Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met Support hiring and training of bakery staff, with guidance from the Bakery Manager Maintain production standards and keep displays looking beautiful, consistent, and appealing Handle customer concerns professionally and with care Keep operations running smoothly during high-volume times (especially holidays!) What Were Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; pastry chef training a plus 3+ years of bakery experience, with at least 2 years in management Food handlers license required Strong knowledge of bakery operations including hiring, training, and scheduling Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure (holidays dont scare you!) Excellent communication skills and a passion for great customer service Comfortable speaking, reading, and writing in English Perks & Benefits We take care of our team! Expect plenty of movement, occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs solo, more with help), and exposure to bakery equipment, ovens, freezers, and cleaning supplies. Youll be surrounded by the sweet sounds and smells of a bustling bakery. Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $20 - $27 Hourly
