Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$1997.57/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for telemetry unit coverage. The role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring cardiac activity, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for telemetry patients. Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to arrhythmias or abnormal findings. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and safety protocols. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including adherence to licensing and certification requirements. Float within the hospital as needed, following specialty-specific floating policies. Qualifications: Active PA or Compact RN license required at submission. Minimum of 1 year of relevant Telemetry nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications, maintained and valid at the time of employment. Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system preferred. Ability to work every other holiday and flexible within the hospital's float policies. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
