About this position About Remote Area Medical Headquartered in Rockford, Tennessee, Remote Area Medical – RAM® is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free quality healthcare to those in need. RAM accomplishes its mission by operating mobile clinics offering a combination of dental, vision, and medical services to underserved and uninsured individuals. The Clinic Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Clinic Coordinator and serves on the Operations Team. Job Responsibilities Build and maintain healthy strategic relationships with direct supervisor, personnel,volunteers and partners that would benefit department and organizational objectives Maintain a constructive team unison with the Volunteer and Communications Team to execute the mission of RAM by working closely with the assigned Volunteer Coordinator and Communications Team members Train, support and serve the Community Host Group leadership in fulfilling their functions and objectives which include but are not limited to pre-clinic (i.e. site inspection), during clinic (i.e.clinic operations) and post clinic support (i.e. CHG debrief) Assist in mobilizing, recruiting, securing and serving Community Host Groups, volunteers and health care professionals; recording data as needed, building necessary reports as directed fromclinic operations Recommend program opportunities, processes, procedures, policies, methods to improverelations, and functions of department objectives Supervise and act as the point person at all assigned clinic events, activities and operations over all staff regardless of internal organizational command structure Maintain familiarity with clinic event concepts, practices, and procedures; excel in relationship building and clinic execution; oversee all clinic events as the manager of the clinic Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performing a variety of tasks as directed by the department head Perform tasks and duties as directed by your Management Team Job Requirements Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Frequent overnight travel to clinic sites required. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time Must be able to lift 20lbs.
