Desired Qualifications & Experience: Current, active Social Worker license with School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required Prior experience working in school environments or with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and respond to diverse student needs Efficient organizational and recordkeeping abilities Key Responsibilities: Provide direct services to students, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support comprehensive student care Participate in student support meetings, develop intervention strategies, and contribute to educational planning Serve as a resource for families and guardians, providing guidance, referrals, and advocacy as needed Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards within the school setting This opportunity offers a 35-hour workweek, allowing for balanced professional focus and personal time.
