Integrity Trade Services is hiring a CDL Driver for our client to start immediately at $30.84/hr! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

As a CDL Driver specializing in heavy equipment transport, this role plays a critical part in maintaining reliable and safe delivery operations.

• Heavy Equipment Transportation
  • Safely operate specialized vehicles designed for transporting oversized and heavy machinery.
  • Ensure proper loading, securement, transport, and unloading of equipment in compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Route Planning and Logistics
  • Develop efficient and safe routes for both long-haul and local deliveries.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate delivery schedules while accounting for traffic, weather, and time constraints.
• Equipment Inspection and Maintenance
  • Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify that vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition.
  • Report mechanical issues promptly and ensure all required maintenance or repairs are completed prior to operation.
• Documentation and Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and customer confirmations.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state transportation regulations, including permits, load restrictions, and compliance standards.
• Customer Interaction
  • Provide professional and courteous service at delivery and pickup locations.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
• Safety and Training
  • Follow all established safety procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and cargo.
  • Participate in ongoing training to remain current on safety standards and industry best practices.

Location: Ft. Wayne, IN

Schedule/Shift Details: Typical rotation is 2/3 weeks OTR and one week off.

• Overtime as needed. Average ages per week equals to ~60 hours.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for oversized or heavy haul transport.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment transportation or a related field.
• Strong safety record with a clean driving history.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and experience with oversized load permitting.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and address minor equipment issues.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
