Vista Vet Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our technician team plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans, assisting in surgery, and providing thorough client education.

In this role, you will primarily provide outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to prepare and assist in surgery, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep procedures and exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.

This is a Full-Time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.

• Compensation: $19-$21/hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus Package: Up to $2,000, based on experience and licensure
• CE Allowance: $500 for first year & $1000 every year following for LVTs

Minimum Qualifications and Skillset :

• 2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Phlebotomy
  • Surgical/procedure set up
  • Medication administration
  • Inpatient care
