The Patient Transporter assists visitors and patients within a medical facility. Pay: $16.00 Hourly Rate The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Military Occupational Specialty Code: 42A, 92S, YN, LS, 0100, 3F1X1, 3F5X1 Responsibilities Act as a Welcome Ambassador for arriving visitors Greet and engage with visitors in and around the facility area to offer informational assistance Communicate effectively with guest regarding services available Assist (aka Wheelchair Agent) with transporting of guest in wheelchairs Assist with baggage as required Coordinate lines at check-in to ensure a smooth, orderly and efficient flow Transfer and distribute wheelchairs as needed Alert maintenance employees about malfunctioning restrooms, elevators, or other equipment.
