Maintenance Operator (Mechanical)

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Maintenance Operator to support day-to-day operations within a distillation unit. This hands-on role focuses on preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and supporting plant operations in a safety-sensitive industrial environment.

• Perform daily equipment walkthroughs, checking gauges, levels, and overall system conditions
• Execute preventative maintenance using internal PM systems
• Maintain and repair equipment, including:
  • Centrifugal pumps
  • Valves and piping systems
  • Basic instrumentation
• Assist with installation, removal, and replacement of mechanical components
• Support distillation operations, including pumping and process-related tasks
• Collaborate with operators and maintenance teams to meet daily priorities
• Follow strict safety protocols, permits, and procedures at all times

• 2–3+ years of experience in a mechanical, industrial, or trade-related field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools and performing repairs
• Experience in construction trades, maintenance, automotive, or similar roles preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn plant operations and distillation processes (training provided)
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently

• Safety-sensitive industrial setting
• Daily use of PPE, including respirators (clean-shaven policy required)

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Pay range: $27.00 – $33.00 per hour

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Commerce City,CO.
