Regional Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Westland, MI by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Run regional solo CDL-A dry van lanes originating from Westland, MI across the Midwest. HMD provides steady home‑weekly schedules, transparent mileage pay and modern, comfortable equipment for dependable operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely drive and manage dry‑van tractor‑trailers on scheduled regional runs.
• Conduct thorough pre/post‑trip inspections, secure loads and maintain accurate logs.
• Communicate with dispatch to meet ETA targets and customer needs.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL‑A with a minimum of 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving history and compliance with DOT rules.

Pay is $0.70 cents per mile plus a $2,500 sign‑on bonus, weekly home time, benefits, additional bonuses and access to a 500+ truck fleet.
