- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and feasible estimates.
- Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and standards.
- Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market conditions.
The Successful Applicant A successful Estimator should have:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in multifamily projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 USD.
