Pipefitter - HVAC SystemsAs a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for the installation of piping for HVAC systems, including brazing, soldering, and welding pipes and ductwork. You will work with various HVAC system types such as rooftop forced air systems, ductless split air systems, large split central systems, cooling towers, and water-cooled packaged systems.Responsibilities:Install piping for HVAC systems.Brazing, soldering, and welding pipes and ductwork for HVAC systems.Work on system types including rooftop forced air systems, ductless split air systems, large split central systems, cooling towers, and water-cooled packaged systems.Install hot water and steam coils, modular chillers, make-up air systems, industrial and kitchen ventilation fans.Install precision temperature systems for computer rooms.Installation of sheet metal duct systems.Essential Skills:Experience in fitting HVAC systems.Skill in sheet metal installation.Knowledge of EPA standards.Proficiency in blueprint reading.Experience in welding and brazing.Construction knowledge.OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience working under a foreman and alongside other pipefitters.Experience with commercial projects, new construction, renovations, and service work.Why Work Here?Enjoy working on high-end custom projects with no winter layoffs, ensuring a busy schedule all year round. Work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of South Amboy, NJ.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
