Sr./Staff Accountant

Firm in Marin is seeking a new member for their accounting team. The successful candidate will display a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, sensitivity to deadlines and be able to handle highly sensitive information with complete confidentiality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must as is the desire and ability to identify, recommend and lead improvements. Candidate must work well individually as well as part of a team, be flexible and willing to accept new challenges. This is an onsite role with the ability to work a 4/1 schedule after 3 months of onboarding. This company offers great benefits and culture.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Advent APX, HedgeFacts, Sage AccPac experience helpful
• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel 
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• Experince working with investments or portfolio accounting a plus
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt as new duties and technology evolve
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic
• Solid reconciliation and analysis skills
• Ability to exercise judgment to support and document conclusions
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Perform other special projects as needed
