Job Summary Panelmatic is seeking a detail‑oriented experienced Quality Control Inspector. In this role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards. Job Duties Inspect output samples using industry-appropriate methods, including comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality, as well as electrical testing as required. Check that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements. Review blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to compare to produced goods and generate an inspection report documenting all deviations. Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re‑works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database. Assist in training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence. Propose improvements to the production process. Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements. Update job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training. Keep measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs. Read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics. Comprehend and operate basic electrical measuring equipment. Collect and compile statistical quality data. Assist in the development of test methods and inspection plans. Determine the causes of product defects and re‑works. Verify that all equipment is calibrated correctly. Understand the functionality of basic electrical components for use in industrial electrical cabinets/panels. Coordinate and support customers during the FAT process. Requirements Two or more years of experience with electrical inspection and testing preferred. Experience in an ISO environment preferred. Experience in Lean/Six Sigma preferred. Associate's degree required. One year of experience with electrical inspection and testing required, in electrical switchgear products and relay panels. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills required. Keen attention to detail required. Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications required. Ability to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, calipers, and computers required. In‑depth understanding of company standards required. Up‑to‑date knowledge of federal and industry standards, UL codes, and best practices required. Understanding of target market and consumer needs required. Blueprint and electrical schematic reading capabilities required. Documentation and reporting skills required. Teamwork and collaboration required. Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required. Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks required. Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50 lbs or more required. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four or more hours at a time required. Alignment with company core values required.
