Sales Support Specialist - Inventory Finance

Summary The Sales Support Specialist administers the onboarding process for new dealer and manufacturer credit line requests. Responsibilities are centered in contacting prospects to obtain required information and leading them through the entire onboarding cycle from application to activation, which includes understanding applicant organizational structure, filing UCCs and administering system generated loan documentation. In addition to ensuring a satisfactory applicant/customer experience, the Specialist ensures accuracy of data in HNB-Inventory Finance's system of record. Duties & Responsibilities Contact prospects in accordance with daily/weekly/monthly targets. Validate and input account data within the system of record (Inventory Engine) to ensure accuracy. Ensure prospect applications and submitted application requirements are in accordance with HNB-IF Legal, Compliance, and Credit policies, processes, and procedures. Obtain information to qualify new prospects including products and brands carried and distributors purchased from. Lead qualified prospects assigned to you through the customer onboarding process from application to activation which includes understanding applicant organizational structure, filing UCCs and administering system generated loan documentation. Maintain tracking, reporting, and forecasting of active pipeline. Actively expand and maintain product and brand knowledge. Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers. Other onboarding related tasks, responsibilities and special projects as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related degree. 3+ years of experience in a customer facing position or 3+ years of experience in banking or finance. Preferred Qualifications Loan processing in mortgage or commercial banking. Exceptional attention to detail, organized and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while staying focused with minimal supervision. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills. Problem solving skills. Working knowledge of Salesforce. Working knowledge of Credit basics. Working knowledge of UCC's. Exempt Status Yes – not eligible for overtime pay. No – eligible for overtime pay. Workplace Type Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. We are combining the best of both worlds: in-office and work from home. Remote roles will also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team. Compensation Range $22.00 - $41.50 hourly. Benefits Compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
