Job Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner

Our organization is in search of a full-time, experienced Nurse Practitioner to become a vital member of our hospitalist team. The selected NP will be responsible for rounding, consulting, and providing treatment to patients.

Position Details

• Schedule: Night shifts
• Work Pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Compensation: Night and weekend differential available

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or 5 years in critical care nursing
• Must possess an active Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa and board certification

Compensation and Benefits

• Sign-on Bonus: $10,000
• Loan Forgiveness: Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
• CME Allowance: $3,000 annually
• Liability Coverage: Employer-sponsored professional liability and tail coverage
• Benefits: Eligible from day one
• Retirement Plans: 403B and 457B options available

About Our Medical Center

Our facility is a Level II Trauma center that has been serving the community since 1893. We operate four not-for-profit medical centers and two specialty hospitals, totaling 875 beds. As part of a larger network, we have 420 care locations across the state, including 18 owned hospitals and 25 affiliated medical centers.

For the second consecutive year, our medical center has been recognized on the Becker's Healthcare list of 100 great hospitals in America, making us one of only two hospitals in the state to achieve this honor.
