Head of Strategic Sourcing

GNO Partners works with approximately 500 Amazon brands collectively doing more than $1B in Amazon sales .

We are launching a new division focused entirely on one thing:

Reducing our clients' Cost of Goods.
We are looking for a senior sourcing and procurement operator to become a founding member of this new initiative and build it together with us from zero.

What you will own

You will work directly with the CEO of GNO Partners, and with established consumer brands to:

• Analyze current COGS and procurement structures
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build should-cost models
• Negotiate with existing manufacturers
• Benchmark alternative factories and suppliers
• Run RFQs and supplier comparisons
• Improve payment terms and MOQs
• Identify value-engineering opportunities
• Qualify alternative suppliers
• Reduce supplier and manufacturing risk
• Build GNO's methodology, systems and SOPs
• Eventually recruit and manage the team underneath you

This is not primarily a logistics or inventory-management role.

We are looking for someone who deeply understands manufacturing economics, supplier negotiation and strategic sourcing.

Ideal background

You have significant experience with:

• China / Asia manufacturing
• OEM / ODM products
• Consumer goods
• Strategic sourcing
• Supplier negotiations
• Cost reduction
• Should-cost analysis
• RFQs
• Supplier development
• Value engineering
• Payment-term negotiations

Experience working across multiple brands, suppliers or product categories is especially valuable.

Backgrounds from Amazon aggregators, sourcing companies, CPG brands, procurement consulting firms or large consumer-product businesses are highly relevant.
