Opportunity:

Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Work with adult to geriatric patient population
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Circulate procedures and manage cardiac catheterization lab operations
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Handle both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Perform left heart and right heart catheterizations
• Work in 3-room unit with 5 beds serving average daily census of 8-10 patients
• Use Epic and Pyxis systems, follow SBAR communication protocols
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Every third weekend required
• Floating within facility and to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South) as needed
• 10 call days per month required
• Work major holidays based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Full compliance required to start on time
