Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 24 months of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Experience with coronary PCI and structural heart patient types - Equipment experience with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra - Experience with vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors - Epic Cupid EMR experience highly preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This position requires a minimum of 24 months of current Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience. Candidates must have experience with patient types including coronary PCI and structural heart. Experience with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra equipment is essential. The ability to manage vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors is required. Candidates should be prepared to work 1-2 of the upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience. A current active license in Iowa or a compact/multistate license is required. All candidates will need to possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
