Description

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Dishwasher delivers service excellence to the Kitchen team by ensuring the kitchen is clean, orderly and sanitized. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen, including dishes, flatware and related equipment.

Performance Expectations:

1. Operate dish machine in the prescribed manner to clean and sanitize all china, glass, silver, pots, pans, silverware etc. according to proper cleaning and product standards.
2. Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen floors and mats during and at end of shifts.
3. Store glassware, plates, flatware and kitchen equipment in proper racks and organize properly.
4. Clean walls and kitchen equipment, and empty trash cans in a timely manner.
5. Correctly use, store and label chemicals.
6. Set up hot boxes and assist with plate up when needed.
7. Assist with bussing when necessary.
8. Report any items in need of repair.
9. Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. Report faulty broken equipment immediately.

General Requirements:

Able to work weekends.

Report to work on time and in proper uniform.

Experience: None.

Education: None

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.

Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling.

Must frequently immerse hands in water.
