Operating Room Registered Nurse – Perioperative

Schedule: Day shift with variable on-call rotation.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state is preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU required.
• Preferred experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology.
• Experience with endoscopies, cataract surgeries, orthopedic procedures, and general surgical cases preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative care throughout the Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the appropriate team members.
• Adhere to infection control practices and maintain a sterile environment.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-operative care.

All onboarding requirements must be completed by July 6 for the July 20 start date.
