Physical Therapist - Regional Health SystemCompensation: $35 to $55 depending on years of experiencePosition OverviewThe Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and implements evidence-based interventions to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility. Working in collaboration with physicians and rehabilitation staff, the therapist provides direct patient care, family education, and clinical supervision as needed. This role also contributes to program development, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop treatment plans in alignment with physician prescriptionsImplement therapy interventions to address physical disabilities, injuries, and disordersProvide patient and family education, including instruction in home exercise programsDocument treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with standardsCollaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants and Athletic Trainers to coordinate patient careProvide clinical supervision and oversight to students and assist with staff developmentParticipate in program development, staff meetings, and departmental committeesMaintain current knowledge through continuing education and training opportunitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate or Master's preferred)Current Wisconsin Physical Therapy license (required)Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire)Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to read, write, speak, and comprehend English fluentlyBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision coverage403(b) retirement plan with company matchTuition reimbursement and professional development opportunitiesEmployee discount programPaid time off (PTO)
