Personal Care Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Personal Care Assistant to join our team at The Meadows at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in East Palestine, Ohio. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our guests, promoting their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance to guests, including bathing, dressing, grooming
Assist with daily living activities, such as setting up meals, ambulating, and transferring
Support guests with mobility and mobility-related issues, including wheelchair assistance and mobility device management
Help guests maintain their independence and autonomy by providing assistance with daily tasks and routines
Monitor and report any changes in a guest's condition or behavior to the nursing staff
Maintain a clean and organized living environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
Communicate effectively with guests, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care and support
