- Parent EducatorHot Job## Description**Parent Educator!**The Parent Educator is vital in continuing MRIs mission to **promote growth, independence and self-worth** by **providing** **personal visits** to participating families homes, **creating individualized family support plans** and **documenting developmental milestones**. The Parent Educator also **leads parent groups** at MRIs Childrens Center, **completes required documentation** and is responsible for **intervening** in crisis situations.So are you a good fit for **MRIs Bright Start****positive attitude**, **willingness to learn** and an impulse to **give back** to the community! Take advantage of this great opportunity **NOW**!## Qualifications* Must supply transcripts of an Associate's degree in early childhood education or a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, psychology, social work or a related field, which includes course work in child development. Must have a minimum of one year of supervised experience in an early childhood setting.* Must have the physical capability to pull, push, turn, stoop, kneel, reach, and bend.* Must display the ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays and/or weekends.* Must have reliable transportation to conduct agency-generated services/ business and/or to transport infant/families as needed; must maintain a valid Illinois Driver's License and a good Motor Vehicle Record; and must have auto insurance.
