Dean's Professional Services is now hiring qualified, Charge Entry Specialist to work a healthcare facility.

A Charge Entry Specialist supports accurate entry of patient charges and diagnosis (ICD) codes into the practice management system to help ensure timely and correct billing.

Job Details:

• Job Title: Charge Entry Specialist
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full Time)
• Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hourly + (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Review basic medical documentation and enter charges
• Apply or verify ICD diagnosis codes
• Confirm patient demographics and insurance information
• Check for data entry errors and missing information
• Use EMR and practice management systems
• Communicate with staff to clarify documentation when needed

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare administration preferred
• Familiarity with ICD coding
• Basic computer skills and experience with office software
• Understanding of patient privacy guidelines (HIPAA) preferred
