Location San Jose Team Marketing & Communications Employment Type Regular Responsibilities Strategic Growth : Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. Public Relations and KOL strategy to boost Pico’s brand authority in the XR (Extended Reality) market. Relationship Management : Proactively build and maintain a "gold‑standard" network of tech journalists, industry analysts, and influential VR/AR content creators. Content Creation : Draft high‑impact press releases, thought‑leadership pieces for executives, and creative briefs for influencer collaborations. Crisis & Reputation Management : Serve as the first line of defense in managing public sentiment; develop rapid‑response protocols for hardware launches or software bugs. Performance Analytics : Monitor media "Share of Voice" (SOV) and analyze the ROI of influencer campaigns to refine future outreach strategies. Cross‑Functional Sync : Work closely with the Global Marketing and Product teams to ensure U.S. messaging aligns with technical roadmaps. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, preferably within the consumer electronics, gaming, or high‑tech sectors; track record of placing stories in top‑tier U.S. tech publications (e.g., The Verge, Wired, CNET) and managing long‑term influencer partnerships; copywriting skills to translate complex technical specs into compelling narratives; experience navigating brand‑sensitive issues in a fast‑paced digital environment; ability to work independently in a satellite office while maintaining seamless communication with a global headquarters. Preferred Qualifications : Deep passion for VR/AR and the "Metaverse" ecosystem; experience working for a global company and understanding cross‑cultural workflow.
