Call Center Patient Services Specialist

Location: 120 Enterprise Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15275Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with varying shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PMTraining Start Date: November 16, 2026Conversion: Potential full-time employment after 3–4 months, based on performance.

Job Summary

We are hiring approximately 20 entry-level Call Center Patient Services Specialists to support operations at a specialty pharmacy. Candidates will assist patients with inquiries, provide customer service, handle account or prescription-related questions, and help ensure a smooth patient experience.

This is an onsite opportunity suitable for candidates with strong communication and customer service skills. Previous healthcare or pharmacy experience may be helpful but is not specified as mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming patient calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Assist patients with prescription-related questions and service requests.
• Provide accurate information and route complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Maintain accurate patient information and call documentation.
• Follow established procedures for patient confidentiality and data handling.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Maintain service quality, professionalism, and productivity standards.

Required Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates with strong verbal communication skills.
• Customer service, call center, or healthcare support experience is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite in Pittsburgh, PA.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week on varying shifts between 8 AM and 8 PM.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to complete background checks and mandatory drug screening promptly.
• Willingness to complete onboarding and attend training starting November 16, 2026.
