Twist is an upscale dining and cocktail destination in downtown Canonsburg, offering elevated food, handcrafted cocktails, and exceptional hospitality in a stylish, sophisticated atmosphere.

We are looking for polished, personable, and experienced Servers who understand that upscale service is about more than taking orders—it is about creating an experience.

Position Overview

As a Server at Twist, you will be responsible for delivering attentive, knowledgeable, and professional service from the moment a guest arrives until their final farewell.

Our ideal server is confident, warm, detail-oriented, and comfortable guiding guests through an elevated dining experience. You should be able to speak knowledgeably about our menu, craft cocktails, wine, and spirits while anticipating guest needs and maintaining impeccable service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide polished, attentive, and welcoming service to every guest
• Create a memorable guest experience without being intrusive
• Develop strong knowledge of Twist's food menu, ingredients, preparation, and presentation
• Become knowledgeable about our craft cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
• Confidently make food and beverage recommendations
• Accurately enter orders into the Toast POS system
• Maintain awareness of food allergies and dietary restrictions
• Check tables throughout the dining experience and anticipate guest needs
• Maintain clean, properly set, and presentation-ready tables
• Handle guest concerns professionally and discreetly
• Assist fellow servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff when needed
• Follow all opening, closing, side-work, sanitation, and service procedures
• Maintain Twist's standards for appearance, professionalism, and hospitality at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous serving experience required; upscale, fine-dining, steakhouse, or craft-cocktail experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, polished appearance and demeanor
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service
• Comfortable describing and recommending elevated menu items and beverages
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to accept coaching and maintain high service standards
• Availability for evenings and weekends
• Must meet Pennsylvania requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
