POSITION DESCRIPTION


The Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovativeHigh School English Teacher to fill a vacancy in the district. The program is supported by a teaching team that works collaboratively to develop and implement curriculum.

Salary: Per HVEA Contract

Reports To: Principal

Status: School Year 2026-2027

Start Date: 08/25/2026

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a certified to teach High School English Language Arts
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To effectively provide materials and instruction to eligible students
• To effectively communicate with students, staff and families

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred


LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
