Responsibilities
- Provide direct, coordinated nursing care for adolescent patients in an inpatient behavioral health program, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure a holistic treatment approach.
- Document assessments, care plans, medications, interventions, and patient outcomes; monitor safety, behavior, and condition changes with appropriate escalation.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for adverse effects, and respond to emergencies or crises using established protocols.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to implement individualized care plans, support discharge planning, and promote patient and family education.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to infection control and confidentiality standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Degree from an accredited nursing program (AS-N or BSN)
- Experience in inpatient behavioral health or adolescent care preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills; commitment to patient safety and quality of care
