This is a temporary job.

Crane Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating crane under complete control
• Operating crane under supervision
• Inspecting the crane and all of its components and below the hook lifting devices routinely and periodically to ensure its safety and the safety of all involved.
• Performing routine maintenance
• Carrying tools for performing repairs as needed
• Understanding and executing the job billing process
• Wearing required personal protective equipment while performing work.
• Cleaning and maintaining the crane and all components
• Utilizing manufacturers recommendations during assembly/disassembly while erecting crane, and while operating the crane in all configurations
• Directing truck drivers and crane helpers during the process of assembly/disassembly, crane set up, and scope of work.
• Mentor other crane operators, crane helpers, etc.

Crane Operator Requirements:

• Must possess a N.C.C.C.O. crane operator certification card for size and type of crane operating.
• Must possess crane operator qualification evaluations on all types of size and type of cranes operating.
• Must have necessary knowledge of OSHA regulations, and ANSI standards associated with crane and rigging services
• Must be proficient in oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to take direction(s) from supervision.
• Must perform daily and monthly equipment inspections
• Must follow all safety and company policies and procedures as well as that of customers.
