RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s)
• 48-hour guarantee available
• Must be willing to float to other departments as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• NIH certification recommended but not required
• Provide direct patient care in 38-bed emergency department using the nursing process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Work in Trauma Level III certified facility
• Provide care for stroke receiving and STEMI receiving patients

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 38 beds and maintains Trauma Level III certification. The facility serves as a stroke receiving center and STEMI receiving center, providing critical emergency services to the community. The emergency department utilizes Cerner EMR systems and focuses on delivering high-quality emergency care with experienced nursing staff who demonstrate strong clinical competencies and leadership skills.
