Builder Starts Coordinator

Job Description

Role purpose: Create an accurate, complete, and traceable starting record for every builder start so downstream Order Service work begins with the right contract, program, job, and scheduling information.

Primary Accountabilities

• Own centralized receipt, logging, validation, and timely routing of builder starts across assigned programs.
• Protect order accuracy by confirming starts against current contracts, packages, pricing rules, and required builder documentation before handoff.
• Maintain a visible intake queue and promptly identify incomplete, duplicate, conflicting, or out-of-program starts.
• Provide a complete, documented handoff to the assigned Order Service representative and preserve source records in the designated system or folder.
• Surface recurring intake defects and builder-document issues so leaders can improve upstream standards and handoffs.

Measures of Success

• Starts processed within the agreed service window.
• First-pass completeness and accuracy of start records.
• Age and visibility of unresolved intake exceptions.
• Quality of handoff documentation and correct assignment.
• Reduction in recurring start-entry defects.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of customer service, order entry, administrative support, or related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated accuracy in high-volume data entry and document comparison.
• Working proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, shared files, and the ability to learn BisTrack, Package AI, builder portals, and internal ticketing tools.
