Job Summary:
A Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) is sought for a position in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves contributing technical and clinical expertise within an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and should have prior operating room experience. The position offers a daytime shift, with minimal minimum weekly hours and a start date of 07/20/2026.

Job Details:

• Location: Madison, WI
• Schedule: Days; 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years of previous operating room experience; Epic electronic medical records experience required; State license required; BLS (AHA) certification required; Candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility unless local with a 10% rate reduction; Driver's License required; Work history/resume required; Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission; License verification required; Copy of required certifications; References - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: At least one travel contract completed; Epic experience preferred
• Additional Information:
  • Must not have been an employee of the organization in the last 12 months
  • The role involves working in facilities that are trauma centers at various levels (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4) in different locations, including Madison, Sioux City, Bettendorf, Fort Dodge, Moline, Muscatine, and Rock Island.
