About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission of providing a safe, home-like residence and innovative, motivational, educational, and vocational prospects for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. The successful candidate will be responsible for preserving the organization's resident-centered culture while enhancing its long-term sustainability through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and community engagement. Key responsibilities for the CEO include providing visionary leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and ensuring that resident well-being remains central to all decision-making. The role also involves overseeing fund development, program quality, and resident engagement, as well as maintaining strong relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, and the larger community. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a background in progressive nonprofit leadership, with a strong emphasis on financial management, and a proven track record in fundraising and working with governing boards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology or social work. While not mandatory, a Master's degree or equivalent leadership experience, as well as a background in behavioral health, residential services, or human services, are preferred. The role requires a leader who can inspire partnerships, and who is dedicated to the values of respect, compassion, and individualized care, in line with the organization's mission to eliminate stigma and enhance the quality of life for its residents.
