Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and gait analysis to diagnose foot and ankle conditions accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, orthotic prescriptions, wound care, and minimally invasive procedures.
• Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques such as X-rays or ultrasound to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, wound management, and botulinum toxin treatments for various foot and ankle disorders.
• Manage patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or other EMR platforms, ensuring accurate documentation of clinical findings and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including radiologists, physical therapists, and primary care providers—to optimize patient care strategies.
• Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, post-operative care, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
• Valid state licensure or certification to practice podiatry.
• Proven experience in outpatient podiatric care with familiarity in surgical procedures, wound management, and diabetic foot care.
• Proficiency with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; experience with medical imaging interpretation is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology related to foot and ankle conditions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their conditions and treatment options.
