Branch Sales Representative - Equipment Trailers

Timpte is a national industry leader with over 140 years of experience. We are searching for a Branch Sales Representative - Equipment Trailers to join our team for the Linn Creek, MO location. This is a new position that will be responsible for growing Equipment Trailer revenue and achieving sales targets for the Linn Creek, MO Customer Service Location (dealership) and surrounding markets. This person will also drive profitable growth strategies by optimizing sales distribution of Timpte's complete Equipment Trailer (ET) product line and associated options & accessories within their assigned territory.

We're looking for a results-driven individual to play a fundamental sales role with Timpte!

Base pay up to $85k/year (depending upon experience) + annual bonus. Total compensation potential up to $95k!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day support and sales process closing new sales with walk-in-customers at the Linn Creek, MO location.
• Willingness and commitment to tow-&-show the Timpte Equipment trailer products to prospective buyers, trade shows, and other industry events.
• Cold calling all potential Equipment Trailer customers and segments within a geographic territory generating a pipeline of buyers as well as establishing a backlog of orders.
• Development, selection and effective management and use of three (3) different sales channels that ensure the company meets/exceeds AOP targets. Sales channels include factory-direct retail sales, new dealer and re-seller sales relationships, and National/Key Account opportunities.
• Recruitment of new dealers willing to stock Timpte Equipment Trailers and effectively represent Timpte in the dealer's assigned area.
• Execute Dealer Sales and Service Agreement (as needed) and ensure ongoing management of associated Minimum Stocking Quantities, Performance Standards and Dealer Incentive Programs.
• Manage all assigned Dealer's ET stock inventory levels to optimize the Production Schedule and ensure the business unit consistently meets / exceeds its monthly and annual sales goals.
• Effectively uncover and recruit new National Account Relationships and obtain new equipment trailers sales from these customers. Volume opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience establishing and managing a Dealer distribution network (preferably within the equipment trailer industry).
• Direct sales experience in related fields including semitrailers and/or utility trailers is preferred.
• Ability to tow & show Equipment Trailers, ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and reliable transportation for required travel (50-70%).
