Toolmaker

J&J Precision, Inc is currently looking for a Toolmaker with experience in design to work at their facility in Thomaston, CT. The right candidate would be responsible for making precision tools (such as jigs, molds and dies), special guides and holding devices, that would help put a customer’s design into production. The individual would work with our customer to bring their designs to life. They would need to be able to visualize products to determine materials and the machines required to fabricate parts. The person would also be a liaison between the customer and the production team once the product was ready for production at our plant. This person would be a team player but also be fine working on his or her own and be a problem solver and have strong communication skills.
