Category: Campus Administration and Operations Organization: College of Humanities Arts & Social Sciences Location: Main Campus - UCR Date Posted: January 24, 2025 Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Full/Part Time: Full-time(100%) Level of Supervision: General Direction Salary: $69,134 - $101,038 (Contract & Grants Analyst 2: $33.11 - $48.39 per hour) Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Overview Under the general direction of the CHASS Contracts and Grants Unit Supervisor, the Contracts & Grants Analyst 2 manages and coordinates complex fiscal budgeting and administration to ensure CHASS departments maintain integrity and internal controls. Responsibilities Serve the CHASS Contracts and Grants team by performing advanced budget and resource analyses. Conduct internal fund audits using robust analytical tools. Track and reconcile expenses for extramural and other funding sources. Maintain strong internal controls. Adapt to evolving needs for financial reports and ad hoc information for Principal Investigators, department Chairpersons, and administrative staff. Prepare agency‑specific, multi‑year budgets and facilitate submission of contract and grant proposals to federal and non‑federal agencies. Assist with training departmental staff on Contracts and Grants procedures, providing guidance to resolve issues and manage funds more effectively. Serve a hybrid remote work schedule.
