Bilingual Spanish Operations Coordinator

Growing and dynamic charter school is looking to hire 10 Bilingual Spanish Operations Coordinators for various schools in the following ZIP codes: 90001, 90002, 90003, 90022, 90037, 90044, 90062, 90063, 90071, 90089, 90255, 90270. MUST HAVE previous experience working in education in an office administration capacity at the elementary, middle school, high school, or college level OR previous experience working in an organization that works with kids/teens directly. Health Screening/Background Check Requirements Must submit and pass a DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Live Scan background check once hired to start the job. Must have a TB Test administered and receive a negative result once hired to start the job. Applicant pays out of pocket cost for both screenings of $80 and the company will reimburse 100% of the cost with receipt. Job Responsibilities Provide logistical support and coordination for field trips and end‑of‑year field lessons. Be the first responder to teacher calls for classroom support. Support planning and execution of school‑wide events and fundraisers. Coordinate purchasing and distribution of materials and services (e.g., field trips, uniforms, office supplies, and teacher supplies) as assigned. Support the School Nutrition Program when needed (meal application entry, monthly meal calendar submission, daily meal count reporting, monthly compliance documentation submission, and meal balance collection). Support daily attendance procedures and work with the Registrar to ensure accuracy of students’ daily attendance. Support the goal of achieving a high ADA by communicating attendance expectations to families and assisting in other activities. Organize, secure, and maintain a pristine office space and environment. Oversee completion of all facilities requests submitted at the school. Coordinate with janitorial day porter regarding daily janitorial needs. Assist in preparing facilities for the upcoming school year (e.g., bulletin boards, signage). Build relationships with families to keep them well‑informed and support their needs. Translate and distribute school correspondence including letters, memos, and weekly bulletins. Assist in the translation of parent meetings, including Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings. Work with the Registrar to ensure emergency medical and contact information for all students is up‑to‑date. Work with the Registrar to ensure the school has complete and current immunization records for all students. Ensure confidentiality and security of office space, files, and all information pertaining to students, parents, staff, and the community. Support the collection of student interest forms. Assist the Registrar in managing family communication, pre‑and post‑lottery (sends notified families of lottery events, sends lottery results letters, contacts families when student ...). Education Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Skills Requirements 4+ years of office support experience. Strong customer service skills required. Computer Skills Required Proficient with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
