Job Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 3 days per week or up to full-time hours while supporting elementary-aged students in a collaborative school environment.
Position Details
- Flexible schedule: 3 days per week up to full-time hours
- Assigned to 1 school site
- Student population: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 29 students
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform a variety of speech-language services, including:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school requirements
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to support student success
Qualifications
- Active Maine SLP License required
- SLP, SLPA, and CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
