Transportation Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be an essential part of the operations support team, ensuring smooth administrative processes and effective communication across departments. Job Title: Transportation Clerk

Location: Hopewell Junction, NY

Pay Range: $22

Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Handle various office and administrative duties including accounts payable/receivable and collections

• Maintain and audit logs, trip reports, and other DOT reporting requirements

• Assist with maintaining database, billing, and miscellaneous reporting tasks

• Coordinate with drivers for route books, driver coverage, and equipment requests

• Support pallet tracking, fuel reconciliation, and office supplies management

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately

• Proficiency in basic office software and database management

• Availability to work full-time during standard business hours
