Pediatric Cardiologist Opportunity

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Cardiologist to join our expanding Pediatric multi-specialty group at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Ambulatory Pediatric Cardiology clinic with inpatient consult coverage at Carle Foundation Hospital
• Balanced practice including outpatient visits, echocardiography, fetal cardiology (if desired), and inpatient consults
• Work alongside an established Pediatric Cardiology team with expertise in congenital heart disease, electrophysiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and fetal cardiology
• Comprehensive on-site pediatric subspecialties including Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Psychology, Nutrition, and 24-hour Pediatric Hospitalist services
• Clinic physically connected to Carle Foundation Hospital, which includes a 48-bed Level III NICU and 22-bed Inpatient Pediatric & PICU unit staffed 24/7 with in-house Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists, and Pediatric Hospitalists
• System-wide EPIC EMR for seamless care coordination
• Opportunity for academic appointment and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
• Interpretation of diagnostics for Carle Health in addition to multiple independent medical systems.
