Work Environment\nThis position offers a unique opportunity to deliver mental health services remotely, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients. Our telehealth facility enables you to manage your caseload from the comfort of your home while maintaining a work-life balance. The scheduled working hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible approach to service provision.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Directly engage as a clinician with a caseload of clients experiencing severe emotional disorders or major mental illnesses, both via telehealth and when applicable, in the community. \n
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to advance shared goals, actively promoting teamwork and mutual support. \n
- Demonstrate cultural competence by engaging respectfully with clients from varied backgrounds, ensuring that services are culturally relevant and individualized. \n
- Utilize established ethical guidelines to adhere to best practices within the organizational framework while navigating various external systems. \n
- Implement evidence-based practices for assessing clients, facilitating therapy sessions, and coordinating care plans to ensure comprehensive treatment. \n
- Respond to crises and intervene as necessary, utilizing effective crisis management strategies to assist clients during difficult times. \n
- Conduct initial screenings and assessments to identify needs and develop integrated care plans that connect clients to necessary services. \n
- Monitor client progress, ensuring timely adjustments to treatment plans based on client feedback and outcomes. \n
- Participate in quality improvement committees, contributing insights that enhance service delivery and organizational effectiveness. \n
You will serve a diverse array of patients who face significant mental health challenges, including those from marginalized and underserved communities. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required. \n
- Current LCSW licensure in the state of California is mandatory. \n
