NRVCS is one of the largest employers in the NRV, and we are continuing to grow! Our team is looking for a Program Clinician I or II to join our New Horizons team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those experiencing a mental health crisis within our community.
The Intensive Program Clinician I or II for New Horizons, provides crisis stabilization, crisis intervention, assessment and clinical services to clients in the residential crisis stabilization program. Assists in development of program and treatment protocols for the crisis stabilization program. Works as part of the team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served, live and function optimally in the community.

Clinician II Starting Salary: $64,996-Depending on Experience

Clinician I:
The Intensive Program Clinician I or II for New Horizons, provides crisis stabilization, crisis intervention, assessment and clinical services to clients in the residential crisis stabilization program. Education/Experience Required:
Clinician I:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other license eligible field is required.
- State of Virginia license or license-eligibility required in social work, marriage and family or other related field; in addition to meeting state of Virginia certified pre-screener requirements within 3 months of hire.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license eligible field is required.
- State of Virginia license is required in social work, marriage and family therapy and/or other related field, in addition to meeting state of Virginia certified pre-screener requirements.
