We're Hiring: Purchasing Agent (DOD Manufacturing) Isometrics Inc. is a premier manufacturer of mission‑critical fuel systems for the Department of Defense. We are looking for a self‑motivated, results‑driven, hands‑on Purchasing Agent to manage our specialized supply chain, support pricing efforts, and assist with spare parts sales‑ensuring every component meets the highest standards of military readiness and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do: DOD Compliance: Execute all procurement actions in accordance with FAR and DFARS regulations, including Buy American Act and ITAR requirements. Strategic Sourcing: Source specialized raw materials and manufacturing components. Supplier Performance: Assist in negotiations on price, delivery, and terms while monitoring vendor quality and on‑time performance. Pricing Support: Develop, analyze, and maintain pricing Bill of Materials (BOMs) for purchased components and assemblies to support proposals and customer requests. Spare Parts Sales Support: Assist with sourcing, pricing, and fulfillment of spare parts to support aftermarket and customer needs. Problem Solving: Take a proactive, hands‑on approach to resolving supply‑chain issues, shortages, and urgent production needs. Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Sales teams to resolve discrepancies, support quoting efforts, and address non‑conforming materials. What We're Looking For: Experience: 3‑5+ years in manufacturing procurement, ideally within aerospace, defense, or truck manufacturing environments. System Skills: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office. Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to perform comparative price analysis, cost breakdowns, and market research.
