Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, Missouri.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: MRI Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a night-shift MRI Technologist for a Level I trauma hospital requiring ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and prior Level I trauma experience.Details\n \n Level I trauma center serving ICU, Pediatrics, and Adult Acute Care patients\n Night shift, 3x12 hours, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM\n No call required\n Charting via Cerner Powerchart, with Radnet and Powershare systems\n Siemens MRI equipment used\n 1:1 patient ratio\n Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and special imaging procedures such as MRA, MRV, CINE, and spectroscopy\n May require preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required, with Siemens experience required and Cerner/McKesson experience preferred\n Level I trauma experience required; Level II trauma experience preferred\n BLS and ARRT (MR or R) or ARMRIT certification required\n Previous travel experience preferred, though first-time travelers with 2 years of Level I trauma experience will be considered\n Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred\n Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs\n Must be willing to work rotating shifts, holidays, and during inclement weather\n License required if applicable\n Additional Information\n \n Facility is a 24/7 healthcare setting requiring routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses\n Floating is mandatory and may include serving as a Patient Observer (Sitter) across various units\n Required to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract\n Maximum RTO of 10 days, with none permitted during the first week due to orientation\n First-time travelers will be considered with 2 years of Level I trauma experience\n Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration\n Travelers residing 51-74 miles away may be offered a local rate\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-753441.
