We are partnering with a leading operations provider to find a dedicated Occupational Health & Safety Officer . This role balances strategic safety management with real, hands-on impact, split between the office and the field across industrial and mining sites.

What You’ll Do:

• Field & Office Leadership: Split your time between executing safety management systems and being a visible, proactive safety resource on-site.
• Risk & Compliance: Lead incident investigations, conduct comprehensive audits/inspections, and perform critical risk assessments.
• Culture & Training: Deliver orientations, facilitate training, and manage contractor safety compliance to drive a zero-harm mindset.
• Emergency Readiness: Develop and maintain robust emergency preparedness and response plans.

What You Bring:

• Education: A BSc or Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or a closely related discipline).
• Industry Experience: Proven background navigating health, safety, and regulatory compliance within industrial and/or mining operations.
• Adaptability: Ready for regular travel to operational sites and comfortable working around safety-sensitive, high-risk environments.
• Communication: Ability to effectively interface with everyone from field crews and contractors to regulatory bodies and leadership.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 per year (depending on experience).
• Bonus: Performance bonus based on company metrics.
• Schedule: Stable Monday to Friday (5/2) work week.
